Welcome to ShazaM Projects, Inc. A Web Design and Web Development Company
History
ShazaM Projects, Inc. was initially established as an artist portfolio for graphics artist Ahmed Hassan in 2002. The webpages differed over the years but the name remained the same. It was not until 2004 after Ahmed had moved to the United States when ShazaM Projects jumped back in the scene. Throughout these years the website never made it to a finished stage. However, in late 2007, Ahmed decided to reopen the project to serve as a web design and development resource for the greater Triad Area, North Carolina. This project later on grew to become a solid service with growing clientel. ShazaM Projects, Inc. is now a growing talent and it is designed, built and run by studio artists.

Current Day
ShazaM Projects, Inc. is currently working hand-in-hand with a number of North Carolina based businesses to create a bridge between the consumer and the investor through websites, business models and client advertisement schemes. We have a number of dedicated clients and a growing portfolio that includes everything from website templates to business cards and brochures. Please check our portfolio page periodically for more posted work. The site is still undergoing construction and due to some technical issues, updating the site's content has been a difficult task. But everything should be up and running by the beginning of December, 2009.

Biography:
Having been born in Iraq and having gone through the war and its destruction, practicing art was not an easy thing. At the age of 13 I started expirementing with logo design and took courses in Photoshop and Premiere. By the age of 15 I was already replicating designs for practice and making simple designs for a local print publisher in Baghdad. At the age of 17 I decided to take courses in 3D Studio Max and AutoCad to broaden my skills. It wasn't until early 2007 when I started my obsession with web design and started perfecting that aspect of my abilities. I was hired by Elon University's University Relations to be part of their Web Team later that year and through my 1 year working for them, I have learned and mastered the art of template designs. I gained expertise in CSS/XHTML structuring and started to venture out for more exciting aspects of web design. I am on my last year of my BA program in Studio Design (Static Digital Imaging) at Elon University and I'm currently studying Maya, PHP and Javascript.

Biography:
Life has taken me many places. I was born in New Jersey but spent a majority of my life overseas in the Philippines and Indonesia. Growing up all over the world has been an extremely positive experience in my life. It has helped me see life from multiple perspectives and appreciate everything I have.
My art direction initially started in high school. I had an excellent instructor, Mr. French. He taught me the foundation of my art skills which in turn helped me achieve a 5 of 5 on my Advanced Placement (AP) Art Portfolio. At Elon University, I spent time in digital art classes. I have loved it ever since and have taken several classes in digital art and web design. During this time I also worked for Vector Marketing. While working there, I achieved the highest level of a sales representative. I also was promoted to Assistant Manager and then Branch Manager while still in school. During my time with Vector Marketing, I helped generate close to $800,000 in sales as a manager and as a representative. Balance in life is important to me. In addition to my art and business endeavors I enjoy time with family, sports, meeting new people, riding motorcycles, cooking, and traveling.
